The petting zoo is not only fun and educational,
but is sure to create a lasting memory!
Our set up:
We arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your designated
start time to set up. Depending on the space provided; we
may contain the animals in one large pen, or a series of
smaller pens. An average space of 15x15 is ideal, but we
are very flexible and can find a way to accommodate
almost any size area. We are willing to set up almost
anywhere; untreated grass, dirt, mulch, parking lots,
indoors.
*When setting up indoors, floor protection (tarp) should be
placed down prior to our arrival.
The petting zoo:
The children are welcomed into the pen(s) where they are
able to pet, hold, feed, and even brush the animals. An
attendant will be present at all times assisting the them
with these tasks. Although there is no formal presentation,
we are more than happy to answer any questions.
We maintain a very clean environment on the farm and
hold that standard on the road as well. Any waste
produced is picked up and removed right away and taken
with us when we leave.
The animals:
1-2 baby goats
1 lamb
4-8 baby bunnies
6-12 chicks
6-12 ducklings
1 piglet
We DO NOT cancel due to in-climate weather. There is no
need to worry about disappointments. Instead, we ask
that you provide an alternate indoor set up location (if
previously arranged to take place outdoors), or
underneath a tent/canopy. Since we do not cancel, all
deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
