THE  PETTING ZOO

The baby petting zoo is comprised of a variety of barnyard baby animals, ranging from:



1-2 Goats
5-10 Bunnies
1 Lamb (when available)
1 Miniature Potbellied Piglet (when available)
6-12 Ducklings
6-12 Chicks
1-2 Geese
And sometimes more...
 






OUR SET UP
We will arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to set up. We will need clearance in and
out of your driveway or other designated parking spot. You will need to provide us with shade during
the times of year that apply  (e.g.-trees, garage, canopy or other covering), water availability and a
trash barrel. It is your responsibility to have the area we are to set up in cleared and ready for our
arrival. We will not set up on fertilized or treated grass as a precaution to our animals. Most of them
are grazers and will ingest it, thus compromising their lives or well-being. Instead we can set up on
your driveway, mulch, dirt, patio, porch, or in your garage. Once we are set up, your guests are
welcomed into the petting zoo to enjoy and interact with the animals. If we are setting up in your
home, again, you must have the area cleared and must be responsible to place floor protection
(plastic tarp) down prior to our arrival if desired. In the event of in-climate weather, there must be a
prior arrangement for an alternative location for set up, if it was previously scheduled to take place
outside. Alternatives include garage, cellar, and porch, inside, or under canopy. We do not cancel
unless we are unable to get to you due to serious weather conditions or other acts of God.
Therefore, deposits are always non-refundable and non-transferable.         
Please note that during the winter and colder months we do not set up outside accept for special
events.  We will instead set up in your garage, cellar or in your home. Again, it is your responsibility to
place down plastic tarp to protect your floor, prior to our arrival, if you so desire.


PRICE FOR THE  PETTING ZOO

Prices include travel, set up, break down and clean up following the job.
There is a fuel surcharge due with each booking of $25.


-Rhode Island-

There is a 1 hour minimum booking required at
$250 per hour.
PLUS a $25 fuel surcharge due with the deposit.
The deposit is $150 (includes fuel surcharge).

…ACCEPT for those located 45 minutes or more beyond the MA/East Providence, RI line. In that
situation, there is an hour and a half minimum required booking at $375 ($200 deposit, includes fuel
surcharge). No travel fees apply. All deposits are due upon booking, the balance is due in cash on
the day of the event. We do accept business
checks if it is from the client, unless the event is a birthday party. In that case the
deposit may be in the form of a check or Credit Card, but the balance must be in cash.


-Massachusetts-

There is a one hour minimum booking
at $250 per hour.  
PLUS a $25 fuel surcharge due with deposit.
The deposit is $150 (includes fuel surcharge).

…ACCEPT for those located 45 minutes or more beyond the MA/East Providence, RI line  ~OR ~  for
those located in close proximity to the MA Pike (Rte 90), west of Rte 49 ~OR~ in the Cape Cod region.
All those will be required to book a one and a half hour minimum at $375 (plus a $25 fuel surcharge).
No travel fees. All deposits are due upon booking, the balance is due in cash on the day of the event.
We do accept business checks if it is from the client, unless the event is a birthday party. In that case
the deposit may be in the form of a check or Credit card, but the balance must be in cash.


NOTE: We cannot provide rain dates unless you reserve the rain date requested with a non-
refundable deposit. The rain date deposit will be applied to the rain date requested in order to hold
that time slot aside. Please understand that with out it, we are loosing money for one of the two dates
you will be holding up for your event, and will have to decline other bookings for both dates. There
will still be a deposit required for the appointed date of the event, which is also non-refundable and
non-transferable.
